WorkGo Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how WorkGo handles information when you use the WorkGo mobile app. WorkGo is designed as a local-first field visit planner. The app does not require an account and does not operate a developer-managed cloud server for syncing your visit data.
Information You Enter in the App
WorkGo may store information that you enter, such as visit names, dates, addresses, client or site names, company names, phone numbers, contact person names, categories, priorities, statuses, memos, visit history, reference locations, language settings, daily geocoding limits, and your Google Maps API key.
This information is stored locally on your device unless you choose to send it to another app or service through an app feature.
Location Data
WorkGo may request approximate or precise location permission when you use features such as calculating distance from your current location or updating your current location. Location is used to support visit planning and distance display. WorkGo does not use background location tracking.
Google Maps and Geocoding
If you enter a Google Maps API key, WorkGo stores the key on your device and uses it for map-related features such as address search, geocoding, place details, and in-app maps. When you use these features, relevant data such as address text, search queries, coordinates, and your API key may be sent to Google Maps Platform over HTTPS. Google processes that data according to its own terms and privacy policies.
If you do not enter an API key, WorkGo may attempt device-provided geocoding for address lookup. That processing is provided by the device platform or related service provider.
Sharing and Third Parties
WorkGo does not sell your personal or sensitive information. WorkGo does not include advertising or developer-operated analytics in this policy version. Data may be shared with third-party services only when needed for features you use, such as Google Maps Platform, device geocoding, opening navigation apps, copying addresses, or starting a phone call from a saved phone number.
Retention and Deletion
Data stored in WorkGo remains on your device until you edit it, delete it in the app, clear the app data, or uninstall the app. You can replace or delete your Google Maps API key in WorkGo settings.
Security
WorkGo uses local device storage for app data and uses HTTPS when communicating with Google Maps Platform. You are responsible for managing your own Google Maps API key restrictions, billing alerts, and Google Cloud account security.
Children
WorkGo is not directed to children and is intended for field visit planning and work-related use.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when WorkGo changes its features or data handling practices. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version.
